Ghorepani Poon Hill trek route is well established, well developed accommodation and the menus never disappoint you. You can extend the Poonhill Ghorepani trekking up t0 9-12 days adding more adventure of Annapurna Base Camp Trek or Annapurna Sanctuary Trek. 


Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu.

Our airport representative will be waiting you in the airport who leads to you to the hotel. Overnight in Hotel.


Day 2: Kathmandu Valley Sight seen:

Sightseeing of Katmandu Valley and its world heritage enlisted site of Swyambhunath Stupa, Patan, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Overnight in Hotel.

Day 3: Bus or private vehicle to Pokhara or fly to Pokhara:

Early morning flight to Pokhara normally takes 35 minutes and ot Pokhara-Nayapul (New Bridge) – Tikhedhunga (1540 m) After early breakfast, departure for Nayapull, 45 km from the city of Pokhara. Our hike begins by crossing the Modi river. Passing through the villages, we will meet hikers returning from their treks in the region. We will continue our walk towards Tikhedhunga crossing a suspension bridge. After a climb to reach the destination of the day – Tikhedhunga literally meaning punctuated stone – we will enjoy a panoramic view of the village and of Macchapucchere and Annapurna South. Stay overnight in the teahouse. 1500m 3 hours of walk.


Day 4:  Tikhedhunga-Ulleri-Ghorepani-2850 m:

The first stage of the hike is a steep climb up the stairs to reach the village of Ulleri. Then, a gradual walk to the village of Ghorepani will be interspersed with lunch in a forest pavilion surrounded by oaks and rhododendrons. Two hours later, you will arrive at the village of Ghorepani. Overnight at Trekking Lodge in Ghorepani. 2850m. 6 hrs of walk.


Day 5: Sunrise at Poonhill- 1 hour of walk.3210m.

To enjoy the extraordinary view at sunrise in the mountains, we have to climb Poonhill Hill, an hour’s walk from Ghorepani. Departure at dawn, around 5 am, and direction Poonhill with bottle of water and flashlight. The locals will be waiting for you at the top with tea and coffee which you can enjoy while enjoying the spectacle of the sun lighting up the Tukuche and Dhaulagiri mountains in the early morning. Magic moment that you can immortalize with your camera and your memory!

From Ghorepani to Tadapni:

Descent down to Ghorepani for breakfast and continuation to Tadapani village. Six-hour walk in the rhododendron forest with beautiful views of the mountains. Tadapani awaits you with excellent views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli and Machhapuchhare. Overnight in Tadapani. 2630m, 7 hours of walk.


Day 6: Trek to Ghandruk [1950 m]

From Tadapani, our path leads to the beautiful village of Ghandruk which crosses a magnificent forest. Ghandruk is  an old and large village of this area famous Nepalese ethnic group known for Gurkha soldiers. Most of the houses in the Ghandruk are made of stone and mud, with stone roofs. When you reach the village of Ghandruk, be sure to visit the Gurung Museum and local house. Breathtaking views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna, Annapurna III and Fishtail. Overnight in Ghandruk Village. 5 hours of walk.


Day 7: Ghandruk-Australian Camp (1980m)

We take advantage of our last trip to reach Landruk. During our descent, we will have an excellent opportunity to see in the forest and in the village the natives who work in the hilly fields. People of this village are depend on animal husbandry and Farming. After six hours of hiking, we will arrive at the Australian camp, an ideal place for sunrise and sunset. Overnight in the lodge. 6 hours of walk.


Day 8: Australian Camp to Pokhara:

After the panaromic views of the sunrise in the Annapurna mountain range we take our breakfast and descends down slowly to Kande which takes 1.30 hours. We are in the main road now , from Kade we take private vehicle to return back to Pokhara in one hour. Free day in Pokhara. Overnight in the Hotel.


Day 9: Return Back to Kathmandu.

Return back to Kathmandu by taking flight which takes normally 25 minutes. Free day in Kathmandu.


Day 10: Retrun:

We will drop you to the airport of the Kathmandu to continue to destination of your choice.
