Itinerary Details of Cho-la Pass Trekking in Everest:
Day 01: Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu

Day 02: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour
Sightseeing of World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu Valley including Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa and Pashupatinath Temple. Overnight at hotel, breakfast included.
Day 03: Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2652m/8699ft) Walking Duration: 3 hrs
Early morning transfer to airport for Lukla flight. The flight into Lukla is a lifetime experience in itself. Trek to Phakding with green landscape & view of Kusum Kangaru. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.
Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m/11283ft) Duration: Walking 6 hrs
On the fourth day, we follow the Dudh Kosi, ascending through Himalayan pine and Deodar cedar forests, to the celebrated village of Namche Bazaar. Namche is a historic trading post where Nepalese and Tibetan traders exchange goods, salt, dried meat, and textiles since a long time now it is one of the hot and happening places and the meeting point of the trekkers coming for this formidable trek. Explore Namchebazar for acclimatization, hike to Syangboche viewpoint and the airport (highest altitude airport in the world), visit local markets and monasteries and Sherpa Cultural Museum. Day 05: Namche Bazar – Everest View Hotel – Return-Hiking Duration 5 hours
This is a day for acclimatization; we will hike to Syangboche Airport (3700m), the supposed to the highest airport in the world. Then continue climbing to Everest View Hotel for great panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Amadablam, Tawache. On the way back visit the Sherpa Culture Museum and Everest Photo Gallery. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 06: Trek to Tengboche (3860m/12660ft) Walking Duration: 5 hrs
The trail takes us to the view of Mt. Everest, then descends deep into the Dudh Kosi Valley at Pungki Thanka; from here it ascends the right flank of the Dudh Kosi valley to Tengboche Monastery (3860m). The climb is long but more than that the stunning view of Mt. Amadablam and on a clear day, views of Mt. Everest and its surrounding peaks made you to forget the difficult walk. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.
Day 07: Trek to Dingboche (4410m/14464ft) Walking Duration: 5 hrs
Today you will descend through a beautiful forest then cross the Imja Khola and trek through the village of Pangboche (3900m); you will not lose altitude like on other days and you will enjoy views of Mt. Amadablam, Mt. Lhotse to the Northside ; the route continues through pastures to Dingboche, Dingboche is also a gateway to go to Chukung Valley. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 08: Dingboche to Dingboche Ri/Nagerjun/Nangkartshang Gompa (5100m/16728ft) and return
The second acclimatization day in Dingboche leads you to the to Dingboche Ri or Nangkartshang Gompa on the north edge of Dingboche valley. The ascending 4.30 hours hike welcomes with good views of Lobuche East (6119m), Lobuche West (6145m), Taboche Peak (6367m), Thamserku (6608m), Kangtega (6685m) and Ama Dablam (6856m). If the days are clear then you can take fantastic photos of those high peaks. There is an option to hike in Chukung(4780m) as well. Spend your second night in Dingboche.
Day 09: Trek to Lobuche (4910m/16105ft) Walking Duration 5 Hrs
We will follow the path to Pheriche Village where there is a Trekker Aid Post. You will then climbs up to the terminal moraine of Khumbu glacier with views of Mount Tawahce, Ama Dablam, and Kongma-Tse. Trek along a broad valley floor before arriving Pheriche. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.
Day 10: Trek to Everest Base Camp (5364m/17594ft) then back to Gorekshep (5181m/16994ft) Walking Duration: 8 hrs
The first section of the trekking from Lobuche follows the narrow gap between the glacial moraine, rocky dunes, and streams. Wonderful view of moraine of Khumbu glacier. The windy and rocky path will be more interesting with the wonderful view of Mt. Pumori, Nuptse and other magnificent peaks and finally, we reach Gorakshep.
The second half of the adventure continues from Gorakshep enjoying beautiful views of mountains along with an experience of the freezing and harsh condition in a high mountain area. To summit Everest, the mountaineers gather in Base Camp during the high expedition season on March-May. Explore base camp and its surroundings glacier and return back to Gorakshep. There are not much elevation gain but a lot of ups and downs. Overnight at guesthouse in Gorakshep, breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.
Day 11: Hiking to Kalapattar (5545m/18188ft) – Gorekshep and trek to Dzongla (4830m/15840ft) WalkingDuration: 7 Hrs
Second day of the greatest adventure starts with a hike up to Kalapattar (5545m/18188ft), the best viewpoint to have a 360 degree view of Mt Everest and surrounding mountains like Mt. Pumori, Mt. Lingtren, Mt. Khumbetse, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Thamserku along with many other peaks. Then trek back to Gorekshep for hot breakfast and then descend to Dzongla. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.
Day 12: Trek to Dragnak/Thangna (4700m/15415ft) via crossing Cho La pass (5420m/17780ft) Walking Duration: 7 hrs
We have to begin the day early in the morning climbing to Chola-la pass. It will be a difficult walk but there are wonderful views of the mountains. We will then descend down to Thanga. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.
Day 13: Trek to Gokyo lake (4790m/15710ft) Walking Duration: 2-3 hrs
The rugged trial takes us today to Gokyo Lake crossing over Ngozumpa Glacier (the large glacier in the Himalayan 36 Kilometers in Length). There are few lakes before reaching Gokyo, a small settlement nearby the Gokyo Lake the first lake, known as Longpongo at 4690m second lake is Taboche Tsho and the third lake, called Dudh Pokhari. Good views of Cho Oyu, Gyachung Kang, Lhotse, Makalu, Chola-tse and Tawache. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.
Day 14: Hiking to Gokyo RI (5483m/19083ft) and trek to Dole (4200m/13775) Walking Duration: 7 hrs
The final adventure during Everest Trek is a hike up to the Gokyo Ri (Gokyo Peak). Climbing to Gokyo Ri is strenuous and takes about 3 to 4 hours to reach the top. The mind-blowing view of Gokyo village on the edge and the broad Ngozumpa Glacier.the view of panoramic mountains Kusum Kanguru, Thamserku, K 43, Kangtega, Taboche, Cholatse, Makalu, Lhotse, Nuptse, Everest, Changtse, Pumori. Day 15: Trek to Namche (3440m/11285ft) Walking Duration: 6 hrs
The second last day of the day we descend to Phorste and complete steep climb to Mong- la Danda (4940m/16200ft), again we descend to Kyangjuma and finally easier trail to Namche. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.
Day 16: Trek to Lukla (2800m/9184ft) Duration: Walking 7 hrs
Continue the same traditional route to back to Lukla where you will catch your return flight to Kathmandu. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.
Day 17: Fly back to Kathmandu

Everest-Tengboche Monastery Trek
Trekking in the Everest region itself is more than mountain trek/journey. It is a lifetime experience for every trekker also Everest trek does not mean trekking to the hard trial of Kalapatthar or base camp. Tengboche Monastery is Situated at the altitude of 3,867 metres (12,687 ft), the largest monastery in the Khumbu region of Nepal. Tengboche Monastery trek is in the foothills of Mount Everest region starts with an easy stroll from the rim of the Kathmandu Valley, where we gain a first distant view of the Himalayas and able to visit the colourful busy street, world heritage site of Kathmandu. After a 35-minute flight from Kathmandu landing at Lukla’s tiny and busiest airstrip, the adventure begins from there.
Tengboche Monastery Trekking follows the traditional route to the Everest Base Camp following Lukla, Phakding, with acclimatization day in Namche Bazar, and finally to Tengboche monastery. Everest-Tengboche Monastery Trek Itinerary Details
Day01: Arrival day in Kathmandu. Pick up from the airport by our airport representative. Stay overnight in a Hotel in Kathmandu. (1,300m/4,264). Overnight in Hotel.
Day 2: Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley, ancient royal palaces in three cities of Kathmandu enlisted in the UNESCO World’s Heritage Site (Swyambhunath, Patan, and Kathmandu Durbar Square (Royal Palace). Overnight at Hotel.
Day03: Fly to Lukla- Trek to Phakding (2610m) Take an early morning flight to Lukla takes about 35 minutes. Face-to-face with the panoramic views of the mountain peaks of Langtang, Rolwaling and Annapurna Himalayan Ranges. Trek begins from Lukla the first 200m downhill to Thado Koshi River, we cross the suspension bridge over it. After crossing the river the altitude rises gradually up to Phakding. Explore the local village and overnight at lodge. 4 hrs of the walk.
Day 04: Trek to Namchebazar: Today, we will cross a lot of suspension bridge over Dudh Koshi river. Crossing the river we passed through forested trial and we arrive at the viewpoint to have a magnificent view of Mt. Thamserku and the view of Thamserku follows you most of the time. Walking though uphill and downhill we arrive at Monjo, where there is the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park. We pass through the village of Jorsalle and Doban we take the uphill route to arrive at Namche. 3440 m, 7 hours of trek. Overnight at Lodge.
Day 05: In Namchebazar: Explore Namche Bazar, a gateway for the several Everest region treks., For the proper acclimatization. Hike uphill up to 4000m for the proper views of the mountain like Thamserku, Kusum Kangru, Kantega, Everest, Lhotse and Ama Dablam among others from the site. You can trek down to the village Trekking down back to Namche and visit Sherpa museum and know more about Sherpa culture and history. Overnight at Namche.
Day 05: Trek to Tengboche: Walk uphill for 45 minutes to cross uphill and trekking two hours more we arrive at Kyangjuma and then downhill walk begins up to Phungitenga for lunch break. After lunch, a few hours of the uphill climb along the shady trial of pine and rhododendron forest leads us to Tengboche. The Tengboche monastery is a beautiful and largest monastery in the Everest region. The view of Mount Ama Dablam is wonderful from this monastery and in March and April, the hills are decorated naturally with colourful rhododendron flowers. Day 06: Rest day at Tengboche: Stay in Tengboche and explore the area nearby Tengboche.

Day 05: Acclimatization day in Namche Bazar capital of Sherpa and gateway to the different trekking route in Everest region. You can explore and hike the upper zone of the Namche Bazar to have a first wonderful view of the Everest, Nuptse, Amadablam, Khumbuste and other beautiful mountains. Day 06: Tengboche: Cross the suspension bridge well decorated by the prayer flags over the Dudh Koshi and witness stunning views of Amadablam Thamserku, and Gokyo peaks. Day 09: Continue to follow the main trail to Everest base camp passing through to Lobuche 4900m via Thukla. Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu: Welcomed by our staff and transferred to your hotel. Our airport representative will explain the program upon arrival. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu Valley tour: Sightseeing of World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu Valley including Kathmandu Darbar Square, Swayambhunath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa and Pashupatinath Temple. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Kathmandu – Jiri- Shivalaya 1,767m: 8-10 hrs bus drive: Take a bus ride from Kathmandu to Jiri along Kodari highway and cross Sunkoshi river. It is the longest road drive to cover a short distance however the road condition is not so rough. View of the different mountain range, hills, and terraced fields. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 04: Shivalaya – Bhandar 2,200m, 5-6 hrs trek: Trek begins from Shivalya to Sangbadanda, a steep climb at the 2150m following another pass at Deurali and descend down to Sherpa settlement of Bhandar. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 05: Bhandar – Sete 2,520m 5-6 hrs trek: The trail descends down to another village of Kenja along the small stream and then ascends steeply to the way to Sete. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 06: Sete – Junbesi 2,680m 6-7 hrs trek: We will have a long day trek today to the top of Lamjura Pass at (3530m). The day will be hard but wonderful along with a view of the mountains and during Spring it is more interesting to see the blooming rhododendron. We then descend down to the beautiful Sherpa village of Junbesi. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 07: Explore Junbesi: Junbesi is a wonderful place to rest for a day. Explore the village and some monasteries of Junbesi, Thubten Choling monastery and Tashi Thongmon Gumba. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 08: Junbesi – Nunthala 2,250m: 5-6 hrs: The trail today cross the Junbes Khola on the wooden bridge at 2610m. The first view of Everest, Thamserku, and Meera peak then we pass through the village of Rigmo and Tak Shindo monastery and arrive at Nunthala. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 09: Nunthala – Bupsa (2,360m 5-6 hrs: Today our trail descends down to the river of Dudhkoshi and across the large suspension bridge and continues to the village of Bupsa. es a steep climb to Bupsa (Bumshing) at 2300m. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 10: Bupsa – Ghat (2,590m: 5-6 hrs: Today, our trail climbs gently passing through the dense forest. Superb view of Mt. Khumbila and Mt. Cho Oyu (8201m). Following Dudh Koshi River. We arrive at Surkhe and then follow to Lukla. A gentle flat trail along the middle of village encounters another trail from Lukla to Everest Base camp. The trail then leads us to Ghat village following Dudh and Thado Koshi River. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 11: Ghat – Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,280 ft): 5-6 hrs. Today, we will join with the main trial of the Everest base camp on the trial of Phakding. Walking over the suspension bridges and passing by Sherpa villages of Benkar, Chimoa, Monjo and Jorsole. We then enter to Everest National Park permit checkpoint and more 3 hours of ascending through the wonderful pine forest we then arrive to the administrative capital of Everest, Namche Bazar. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 12: Acclimatization Day – Namche Bazaar: 3,500m: Explore Namche bazar or visit Khumjung village or visit Sherpa museum or trek north of Namchebazar toThame for the best panoramic views of Himalayas.
Day 13: Namche Bazaar – Tengboche 3,870m: We are now on the main trial of Everest trek. The marvellous views of the mountain Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhoste, Ama Dablam are in front of us. The trial moves further up and then descend down to cross the suspension bridge over Dudh Koshi River a steep climb through pine and juniper forest finally brings us to Tengboche. It is best to visit Tengboche during Mani Rimbdu Festival. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 14: Tengboche – Dingboche 4,360 m: Passing the village of Deboche, crossing Imja Khola bridge and gradually climbing up with the fantastic view of Mt. Amadablam we finally reach to Dingboche village. This is the last Sherpa settlement in this trek. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 15: Acclimatization day in Dingboche: Acclimatize in Dingboche area exploring Chukkung and Imjaste valley. View of Amadablam, Lhoste, Imja glacier. Lunch in Chukung and back to Dingboche for overnight.
Day 16: Dingboche – Lobuche (4,940)4-5 hrs. We are reaching near to our destination passing through yak grazing ground of Dhukla and nearby the moraine of Khumbu glacier where we can see the memorial of climbers who lost their lives while climbing Everest. Superb close view of Khumbuste and Pumori and Mahalangur Himala. Arrive at Lobuche. Overnight in Guest House.
Day 17: Lobuche – Gorak Shep (5,160m) – Everest Base Camp (5,364 m) – Gorak Shep: 7-8 hrs. Take a trial from the side of the Khumbu Glacier to Gorakshep and continue to Everest Base Camp surrounded by mountaineers during expedition season. Capture your moment in the base camp and trek back to Gorakshep.
Day 18: Gorak Shep – Kala Patthar (5500m) – Pheriche (4,280m:7-8 hrs. We will today climb 2/3 hour up to reach the highest elevation of the trek, Kala Patthar at 5500m to have a wonderful sunrise and panoramic view of the Everest and surrounding mountain chains. It will a wonderful experience of your life. Trek down to Gorakshep and furthermore trek down to Pheriche.
Day 19: Pheriche – Phortse (3,750m):4-5 hrs. Take the trial of Phorste while returning to basecamp instead of taking the same route. Pass through Pangboche monastery and Imja river. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 20: Phortse – Monjo ((2,800m): 5-6 hrs. Our trail passes through the convergence of Everest Base Camp trek and Gokyo Lake trek and on the way to Namche Bazar. Descend down to National Park checkpoint to lower green valley at Jorsalle then the last destination Monjo. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 21: Monjo – Lukla (2,780m): 5-6 hrs. The trial leads us ahead passing through a river of Dudh Koshi and finally to the Lukla section. Re-confirm your flight Ticket. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 22: Lukla – Kathmandu by Air (1,300m/4,264ft): 35 minutes airstrip. Fly back to Kathmandu from Lukla. 35 m flight with same panoramic of mountains. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 23: Final departure day. Our airport representative will drop you to the airport to back to your next destination.
