    Itinerary Details of Nepal’s Photography Tour:

    Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m): Upon arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, our airport representatives will meet and greets you. You will be taken to the chosen hotel in Kathmandu along with dinner and cultural dance presentation in the evening.

    Day 02: Explore Kathmandu City: Begin your photography tours passing through the alleys and narrow street of Kathmandu where there are temples and statues of Hindu and Buddhist god and goddess in every corner you pass. The city is colorful and vibrant. Visit World Heritage Site of Kathmandu Royal Palace and Swyambhunatha Stupa. Walking tour inside the city. Overnight in Hotel.

    Day 03: You can start your second-day photography tour to go to forgotten and a less touristic town of Old Thimi once popular as the village of Potter. Capture the traditional style of their pottery making and daily life activities. Drive more 30 minutes to reach the ancient town of Bhaktapur well known for its middle-aged city homes, ancient monuments, Hindu Pagoda, and Shikhara Temples, Newar’s Monastery, and UNESCO World Heritage site of Bhaktapur Royal Palace.  To capture a perfect view of the Himalayan range we drive more 12 km away from Bhakatpur to pass our overnight stay.

    Day 04: After a memorable tour of Bhaktapur, on the third day make your camera ready to capture the view of Himalayan ranges from Nagarkot.  In a clear day, you will have a chance to capture long mountain ranges from Annapurna in the West to Everest in the North-East from Nagarkot.  Next, we will make a city tour of Patan/Lalitpur with another UNESCO World Heritage site with ancient Royal Palaces and Temples. Patan looks small but it is equally or more rich in ancient monuments. Patan is surrounded by many ancient Buddhist Stupas. An entire day is necessary to pass through these ancient places where there are always few numbers of tourists. Overnight in homestay at Patan.

    Day 06: Our photography trips now leaves Kathmandu city to the western part of the small hilly town of Bandipur by car drive. The distance is 120 km away from Kathmandu where you have to pass through the busiest East-West Highway of Nepal through the front of the riverside road. Before arriving Bandipur we will climb to the top hill of Manakamana temple, (famous Hindu Goddess- the reincarnation of Durga) through a cable car.  The best moment to capture the image Hindu tradition and devotees in front of the temple.  Furthermore, descend down and drive to the hilly town of Bandipur. You can capture the best moments of the sunset over the mount Annapurna and Manaslu ranges if your reach Bandipur before sunset. A tiny town with the small marketplace. Overnight stay in Homestay or Hotel in Bandipur.

     

    Day 07: The distance of Pokhara from Bandipur is 80 km. The morning hike is advisable for you to take a shot of sunrise over the hills and mountains that only take 1 hour from Bandipur town to Bandipur hill. We drive ahead to Pokhara after breakfast driving 90 kilometers we arrive in Pokhara and directly go to the Hotel. We put our luggage and have a lunch in the restaurant in Lake city and starts our day tour.  We will drive to World Peace Stupa which takes 45 minutes, leaves our vehicle and start our tour. From World Peace Stupa, capture the best shot of whole Pokhara city, mountain, and lakes from the top of 1100m. Hike down to the bank of the lake which takes 40 minutes. Boat ride to cross the lake and visit the famous lake Tal Barahi Temple while crossing the lake. Finally, back to Hotel in Pokhara.

    Day 08 Pokhara -to- Bhumdi (1650m) Mini trekking around Pokhara to capture daily life activities of the ethnic group Gurung and Chhetris.  5 hours of walk.  Drive for 45 for Thare Khola and begin our trek to the Gurung village of Bhumdi.  Best village to capture Phewa lake and famous for sunrise and sunset over Annapurna Range. Tour of the village and overnight in the homestay.

    Day 09: Bhumdi -to- Panchase (2030m) 6 hours walk.  Trekking of 6 hours through rhododendron, cedar, pine and juniper forest uphill walk. On the first part of the trek, we will pass through the village playing hide and seek with famous mountains.  Enjoy a picnic with packed lunch during the day. The second half walking will be on a wider road for two- and- half hour. The mountains views are always in front of us. Enjoy the sunset view from Panchase hill over the mountains. Overnight in a lodge at Panchase.

    Day 10: Panchase -to- Bhadaure (1965m) Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the early sunshine. The viewpoint is 1 hour uphill walk from our hotel. A smooth walk will take you to the upper viewpoint. Those who cannot walk can enjoy the same view from the downside. You can able to see the famous mountains like Fishtail 6997m, Annapurna South 7241m, Himchuli, Annapurna I, II, III, Dhaulagiri, and Manaslu ranges. The first glimpse of the ray of the sun over the mountains is extraordinary. Come back to the hotel enjoy your lunch and continue to Bhadure village passing through rhododendron forest. 4 hours of walk. Take a jeep ride from Bhadaure village to Pokhara.  Stay overnight in Hotel.

    Day 11: Drive to Chitwan National Park: Chitwan National park is 140 km away from Pokhara. It is famous for Elephant Safari, Jeep Safari, wild animals as one-horned rhino, Bengal Tiger, Asiatic Elephant, Ghariyals, Crocodiles, different floras, and more than 543 species of bird. The bird watching and elephant safari are the famous activities in Chitwan. Participate in Traditional Tharu Dance in the night. Overnight in Hotel or homestay in Chitwan.

    Day 12: Full day Jeep Safari and walk in the forest inside Chitwan National Park.  Overnight in the homestay or Hotel.

    Day 13: Birdwatching in the morning and drive back to Kathmandu. Overnight in the Hotel.

    Day 14: Finally, our last visit to the famous ancient Hindu Temple of Lord Shiba named Pashupatinath to meet Sadhus with colorful faces and also to watch the Hindu cremation in front of Bagmati River. Then furthermore, move to the Boudhanath Stupa, an ancient Buddhist Stupas. The surrounding of the stupa is vibrant with Buddhist Pilgrims and the tourists. Stay overnight in the monastery guesthouse or Hotel in Bouddhanath Stupa. Bouddhanath is also popular for shopping and small gifts for your friends and family.

    Day 15: Fly back to your own country. We will leave you to the international airport with good memories of Nepal.
