Pokhara Valley Tour is one of the most beautiful city tour, which lies in the western region of Nepal and located at the distance of 200 km away from the capital city Kathmandu. This is a city surrounded by several lakes and hills and the panoramic view of the world highest mountains like Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, and Annapurna ranges. Pokhara Valley tour offers several treks starting from the Pokhara city like Annapurna Base Camp Trek, Poon Hill Trek, Dhampus Hiking, Mardi Himal Trek, and Panchase Trek. Seti Gandaki River is the main river that flow from the middle of the city and several deep gorges are made by this river.

The main attractions of this city are Lake Phewa, Begnas, Rupa Tal (Lake) and Sarangkot a famous view point of Pokhara and World Peace Stupa are alos the major attractions. During Pokhara Valley Tour, the climate of the city is sub-tropical; however, the elevation keeps temperatures moderate in summer temperatures average between 25 to 33 °C and in winter around – 2 to 15 °C. Pokhara and nearby areas receive a high amount of rainfall. The best season to visit this lake city is from September to May but people can visit here anytime except the monsoon season is not regarded as the best season.
Itinerary Details of Pokhara Valley Tour
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel from our Airport Representatives. Welcome Dinner in a Nepalese Restaurant with cultural dance.
Day 2: Kathmandu Valley sight seen. Historical and World Heritage sites of Kathmandu Valley offer several Hindu and Buddhist temples and Stupas which are enlisted in UNESCO Heritage.
Day 3: Visit one of the ancient city of the Kathmandu called Bhaktapur and the hilly temples of Changu Naryan. Visit the medieval city and stay overnight in this famous city which once was a silk road between India and Tibet.
Day 4: Drive to Pokhara from the Prithivi Highway along the bank of river Trisuli and visit famous Pilgrimage Hindu Temple (Manakamana) and after visit of one-and-half hour continue two hours drive to reach the famous Newar Town of Bandipur. Visit the small town and stay overnight in Bandipur.
Day 5: Early in the morning climb the hill of Bandipur for the breathtaking mountains, hills, and valleys view. When the days are clear a majestic view of Annapurna, Dhalulagiri, Gorkha, Manaslu, Himchuli, and Ganesh Himal are clearly seen from the famous hill of Bandipur. Continue drive to Pokhara which is about 60 km away from Bandipur and visit Mountain Museum and famous lake city of Phewa.
Day 6: Visit other famous destinations of Pokhara a large cave of Gupteshowr and Davis Falls. Also visit World Peace Stupa and trek down to the lake Fewa. 45 minutes of downhill walk in the shadowy forest leads us to west corner of Fewa Lake. Take a boat ride to cross the lake and visit famous island temple of Godess Durga known as Tal Barahi. After a short break, take a Jeep to reach the famous viewpoint of Dhampus village by Jeep and stay overnight in the famous Gurung village of Dhampus. Enjoy unique view of sunrise with the Annapurna range. Take a short downhill walk to reach Dhampus Phedi and visit famous cave of Mahendra and Bat cave. Free evening time in Pokhara.
Day 7: Drive back to Kathmandu in tourist bus takes 7 hours. After arrival in Kathmandu, enjoy window shopping or shopping in the tourist town of Thamel. Visit a small garden known as Garden of Dreams.
Day 8: Visit World Heritage Temple of Pashupatinath and Boudhanath Stupa and several other Monasteries in Boudhanath area.
Day 9: Departure to own destination by bus or international flight. Our airport representatives will drop yo at the international airport to continue to destination of your choice.
